Belmont 2 Sewer Refund Update

We’re pleased to share a significant milestone in the Harvest Sewer Refund process. Based on the analysis authorized by the Town of Argyle, a total of 1,049 accounts have been identified as qualifying for a refund, with the total amount calculated at approximately $230,000 for the period spanning 2018 to 2024.
While the Town of Argyle originally aimed to coordinate with Argyle Water Supply Corporation to apply direct credits to current customer accounts, that approach did not come to fruition. To avoid further delays, checks will be issued directly. This process has proven to be an effective and reliable solution.
Next Steps
Refund Applications will be accepted through December 31, 2025, and will be processed on a rolling basis as they are received. If you believe you are eligible and haven’t applied yet, we encourage you to submit your application soon. Apply for a refund here.
As of April 25, 2025, 166 refund applications have been recieved. We’ve officially issued 136 refund checks, totaling approximately $67,000.
Some applications came from individuals either outside the Harvest area or from accounts that were billed correctly. In those cases, we will be reaching out directly to notify applicants that their account is not eligible for a refund.
